Oshiwara in Andheri has been one of the many hubs of the food revolution in the city with Sammy Sosa as the Mexican brother. Adding the beer menu to its roster years ago and recently expanding it to take the tally up to 35, has boosted its patronage.
SAMMY SOSA has been conceptualised & founded by young, dynamic & adventurous Brother duo Samrat and Virat Kapoor, who are passionate about varied cultures.
Samrat Kapoor, a Computer engineer by qualification, not ready to curb his creative talents with regular desk job, pursued his interest in the glamour industry with hundreds of ad compaigns for brands like Yamaha, Mirinda, etc.
Also and avid biker, he has travelled across the far ends of India, including world's highest motorable road - Khar Dung La in Leh. He has also travelled all the way to Singapore, covering five countries, 33 cities in 55 days, covering a vast expanse of 17,000 km.
Following his heart and passion for travelling & exploring cultures, Samrat co-founded Sammy Sosa.
Virat Kapoor, a gradute in Banking & Finance from Mumbai's Jai Hind College, is a born all rounder with excellence in academic and co-curricular activities. To gain international experience, he did his post gradution in International Business from Manchester University, UK.
He is a music lover and travels to attend various live concerts across world. During his travelling, he keeps looking for inspiration and fresh ideas for Sammy Sosa.
The experience of establishing the First outlet was similar to raising the first Child, and indeed quite Speical.
Established on 14th May, 2008, the flagship outlet at Oshiwara has been the source of all fame and glory that Sammy Sosa accumulated over the course of years.
Barely in their early 20s, the co-founders learnt tremendously from first hand experience and kept improving and improvising the Oshiwara outlet in terms of food consistency, service standards and most importantly... understanding what the patrons yearned to eat at Sammy Sosa in terms of the spectrum of flavors.
Having acquired significant first hand experience over the various aspects of the Hospitality industry, the Second outlet was opened at Belapur, Navi Mumbai, with a decade of expertise being put to open a Larger than Life sized outlet which retained all the key elements and qualities that Sammy Sosa is known for
The most recently established outlet at Malad is the cumulative result of the success of the earlier 2 outlets, which embodies the philosophy, work ethics and food consistency that Sammy Sosa is known for
Our aim is to serve many, if not at the restaurant then we bring Sammy to your Den.
